A residential complex designed to accommodate 80 apartment units for 160 residents, guided by a concept inspired by the branching form of a tree. The design originated from a simple cube, gradually divided into extensions that shaped the structure’s organic composition. Although rooted in a strong conceptual idea, the form was carefully developed and tested throughout the semester to ensure technical and structural feasibility.
Ramps serve a dual purpose, connecting units through circulation while also creating spaces for pause, interaction, and community. The result is an exploration of how metaphor and concept can evolve into livable, human-centered architecture that fosters connection and belonging.
